Storytelling with Claire!
An immersive, interactive experience where children don’t just listen to a story – they become a part of it! These sessions are designed to spark imagination and encourage active participation, with opportunities for children to step into roles. Whether they’re bravely sailing on a pirate ship, helping a wizard solve a mystery, or joining a dinosaur on an adventure, each session brings stories to life in a way that’s engaging and memorable.
In each session, children are invited to explore their creativity. With gentle guidance, they learn to make their own choices and share ideas with others, building confidence and social skills in a supportive environment. Storytelling becomes a shared adventure where every child has a role to play, fostering a love for reading.
These sessions nurture essential skills for young learners. Children develop listening skills as they follow the tale, build their creativity as they voice their ideas, and develop problem-solving skills as they encounter obstacles on their adventures. By the end, they’ll have contributed to a shared story experience to remember and take pride in. Each session is a unique adventure designed to leave children inspired, confident, and ready for more storytelling magic!
Pricing List
School Sessions (Nursery to P7):
One class visit: £120 Two classes: £160 Three classes: £220
Library / Community Group Sessions:
£50 base rate, with an additional £10 per child.
For these sessions, there is a minimum requirement of 8 children per session, and an upper limit of 20 children. It is the responsibility of the venue to organise space allocation and ensure the upper limit is not exceeded.

I offer a range of professional editing services designed to bring out the best in your writing. As a passionate freelance editor currently pursuing accreditation through the College of Media and Publishing, I bring a keen eye for detail to every project. My services include proofreading to correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors; copy editing to ensure clarity, consistency, and style; and beta reading to provide constructive feedback from a reader’s perspective. Let me help you polish your work to its highest standard.

English Pupils from P6 – S6
English Tutoring
I offer tailored tutoring for the Scottish Curriculum, helping pupils improve their skills and confidence in English.
I am a PVG registered Secondary English Teacher working in Aberdeenshire with a background in primary education.
Available to P6 – S6 pupils of all abilities.
Focusing on:
- Essay writing skills
- Critical reading and textual analysis skills
- Grammar and vocabulary development
- RUAE practise sessions
- Creative writing support
- Spelling, punctuation and grammar support
- Entrance exam / SQA exam preparation
I can only offer a very limited number of spaces. These can take place at my home, or remotely using Google Meets / Zoom. Bookings will be completed on a first come first served basis.
