Introducing: Claire Mackay

Hello, I’m Claire! I was born and bred in Fife, survived my university years in Aberdeen City, and now live in the beautiful North East of Scotland with my husband, our dog, Sam, and our guinea pig, Arthur.

I’m a lifelong lover of books – and can often be found with my nose in one. I’m an insufferable ‘grammar-corrector’ (much to the delight of my friends and family), and I firmly believe in the magic of reading.

In my services, I bring to the table a wealth of experience in teaching, supporting readers and writers of all ages. Whether it’s sparking a love for storytelling in children (and adults!), guiding authors through the editing process, or helping students through their English exams, I’m here to help words come alive.
